RIP - I never saw him but I was hoping he/his character might return sometime. He looks so very familiar but none of his filmography on here is ringing a bell. Maybe I saw him in the promos before I started watching again.
shareVery sad. He was working on a theatre production at the time and he got sick. I don't know what happened.
shareIt is very sad. Sounds quite similar to how Rob Guest passed away a few years ago, too. Maybe not the same illness but the circumstances.
shareI wonder if they will touch on it on the show - mention something like he was working on a car and collapsed; and that would also potentially lead to them bringing in the mother and sister we have only heard mentioned before.

I'd like that, actually. Though I imagine their mother will come in when/if needed and not before. I'd like to see both.
Of course, recasting is another possibility, if they want to use the character again.
