What if Dee....

just for fun...

Stonefish on the beach somewhere sunning himself and then this glow appears from the water.
On closer inspection it appears to be a mermaid with long golden hair. Then looking a little closer its Dee coming out of the water after 13 years of swimming happily at the bottom of the sea with the fishes and the sharks.
Stonie obviously captures this on his phone and these are the pictures that he shows Toadie on Friday.

Sound believable? Nope, but then again we haven't heard the excuse for her disappearance yet.
Smile and pretend...it works

I'm expecting something more along the lines of the movie "Saw" with this great plot twist.

reply

Puhlease!!! the Dee storyline is catastrophically dumb at a dumbed down nursery level enough already without your comedy.

reply

Maybe it'll be like Scooby Doo... Sonya will rip her face off and it'll turn out to be Dee underneath... now that'll be dumbed down.

I'm writing this signature in bold so people know it's a signature

Stop giving the "writers" any ideas.....

I'm going for Toadie having been in a coma since the car crash and Dee has been sitting by his hospital bed waiting for him to wake up. Everything that has happened in Neighbours since then was a dream ;-)

reply

That reminded me of a crazy theory *I* had, which is that everything's a dream that Danny Ramsay's been having since the car crash in EPISODE 10. He's been in a coma all this time (longest coma ever I think was something like 20 years...). His premonitions before the accident are some kind of nod to this. Wouldn't this be the weirdest way to end "Neighbours"????

reply

I have an alternative theory. In an unprecedented crossover between an Australian soap and a British Sci Fi series, Dee is rescued at the point of drowning when the Tardis materialises around her. She asks the Doctor to drop her off with Toadie on the shore but the Tardis malfunctions and she is returned 13 years later. This scenario will be revealed during the Neighbours hiatus, as a side-plot of the Doctor Who Christmas special.

Is it weird that I would seriously absolutely love something like this? I know it is impossible, but it would be amazing. Also! If Doctor Who and Neighbours take place in the same universe? Any continuity issues? They were because the Doctor did a reset or two when saving the world!

reply

I actually would adore the Doctor Who idea LOL

reply

I tell you, it would make so much sense.

Astrid Peth (Kylie's character) as a weird echo of Charlene? Why not?

reply

Oh yes of course. Brilliant. I loved her on the Titanic episode
