What game console did MacGyver play?
In the episode The Wall (S06E05)?
From the overview I got from the controller, it seemed to be a Sega Master System, the 8-bit predecessor of the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive in Europe).
The Sega Master System was not very popular in North America and Japan. It was more successful in Europe, where the Nintendo Entertainment System was not so successful, and in Brazil.
MacGyver looks really fascinated when he plays his hockey game. Like he got hold of the console when he came back from Europe and wonders how did we miss this? :-) Unlikely, however, he would have been able to play a PAL system on an American TV that was NTSC.
