Did your local ABC station air Season 2?

Just wondering: Was WPVI Channel 6 in Philadelphia the only ABC affiliate station that didn't air the second season of Ewoks?

Channel 6 started preempting the Droids/Ewoks hour in the spring of 1986 to make way for the Al Alberts Showcase (so the first season episodes aired twice; a few episodes only aired once).

I didn't even know season two was airing anywhere until a trip to New York in late 1986, at which time the marked decline in the show's quality convinced me that WPVI had engaged in a mercy killing.

But I'm curious to find out if the absence of Ewoks 2 in Philadelphia was an isolated thing... any feedback is appreciated.

Yep. Local network in Ohio aired the second season, much to some fans regrets. I think a few may envy those that never saw the second season. heh-heh.

I didn't really watch the cartoon, but I remember them changing the theme song so the Lexington, KY affiliate must have shown the second season.

I do think the last season of Dungeons & Dragons got pre-empted though. I didn't see the last few episodes until I bought the DVD.
