I just watched the episode where his ex-wife asked for McCall's help with her current husband and man what a piece of work she was..no wonder McCall would've rather dodged bullets and risk his life for other people...at least his son came around a bit and began to understand some of what his father did and at one point even partook in a mission to infiltrate the Russian Embassy to save his friend.
