shareIf you check the episode guide for Nocturne on imdb, you'll see that Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson appear as themselves (Ashford & Simpson). So that answers your first question. Another few minutes' investigation shows that they performed the song "Count Your Blessings." (I don't know if that's the only song they do in the show, don't we see/hear them a couple of times?) But anyway, that was the showcase song.
