Thanks, You Tube

There are some wonderful clips of Stephanie Beachum as Sable posted on YouTube. She really was a power-diva of the 1st magnitude! Watching her in action again makes me wish a reputable dealer would box this show up and release it along with the Dynasty sets.

Because it's only three seasons and I absolutley love Stephanie Beacham, I would purchase The Colby's in its entirety if it came out on DVD. Did you know Stephanie Beacham was only 37 when she started on The Colbys? Interesting considering how old her children were supposed to be.

Only 37? Amazing job she did. She carried herself with such authority and maturity. I'm a huge fan of both "The Colbys" and Steph back from her days at Hammer Studios. If we're lucky the dvd box sets will be released or at least bundled with the "Dynasty" episodes.

I agree - she did not look old but she certainly seemed more seasoned than 37. But she was born in 1947 despite however old they wanted her to play. By Hammer studios are you referring to And Now the Screaming Starts?

reply

Yep and some tv work, as well. After the "dynasty" series she did the "Seaquest" series , "Sister Kate" etc. Haven't seen much of her since "Beverly Hills 90210"

I didn't like how 90210 downplayed her looks. She was still quite attractive in the early-mid nineties, but 90210 insisted that she play a 'hippie-chick' and she was made to look washed out. Not cool - Stephanie deserved better than that.

She was supposed to have looked like a million bucks on the British version of Dancing With the Stars a year or two back.

Ididn't know there was a British version of Dancing With the Stars, but I could definitely see Stephanie Beacham looking great both facially, and in motion on the dance floor. I'd actually like to see some of that footage. Did she win?
