So, who watches the 'Santa 85' episode every Christmas ?

1985 was a heck of a year for Santa, we also had "Night of the Meek" on the Twilight Zone, One Magic Christmas with Mary Steenburgen, and Santa Claus The Movie with Dudley Moore.

And they kicked the butt of every Christmas TV special and Christmas movie that has come out in the last 2 decades.

I had it on tape from '85 and bought the dvd set just for the Santa
episode...Watching it every Christmas has become a family tradition!

Funnily enough I watched Santa85 the other day. Hoping season 2 is released soon....

Just got done watching it on Netflix. I watched it when it first came out in 1985 and it's just as good to watch now as it was back then.

I do, it's absolutely wonderful! It's a staple of my Christmas viewing traditions.

Such a shame Pat Hingle is no longer with us, he was a lovely actor.

Agreed. He was great in this as was the guy who payed Santa. I was a bit teary eyes when Pat finally got his ray gun at the end!
