Spielberg's episode as director - The Mission - features Kiefer Sutherland, Casey Siemaszko, and Gary Riley who were all in Stand By Me. Also featured is J.J. Cohen who also was in Back To The Future with Casey Siemaszko, and Gary Riley. Frances Lee McCain who was in Back to the Future, was also in Stand By Me with Casey Siemaszko, and Gary Riley. McCain was also in Gremlins which co-starred Corey Feldman, who was in Stand By Me, and both Gremlins and Back to the Future were filmed on the same set on the Universal back lot, and both were produced by Steven Spielberg. On another note, Judge Reinhold and Phoebe Cates of Gremlins, were also both in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which co-starred Ray Walston who portrayed the cave man in the opening credits of Amazing Stories, Fast Times also features Martin Brest, who directed Judge Reinhold in Beverly Hills Cop, which also features James Russo of Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
