Heroin injection scene
I first saw this movie on one of the "premium" movie channels in the late 80s: HBO, Cinemax, Starz, etc.). I distinctly remember during the scene where Ilan Mitchell-Smith ("Jim Conrad") is on the staircase and sees the Vietnam vet (Randy Quaid?) in the bathroom. I clearly remember seeing the vet holding an injection needle in his hand and I believe I remember him having a rubber hose wrapped around his arm.
I just watched the VHS version. That scene is missing. It merely cuts to Jim on the stairs and the door to the bathroom slowly closing.
IMDB does not mention this deletion on its "alternate versions" page.
Does anyone else remember this scene or am I just fooling myself and imagined seeing it?
Thanks ahead.
