what is the bigger villain?

I was thinking of good villains in movie history and when I thought of his movie I thought of both the nothing (which is like a storm I guess) and Gmork (spelling?) that wolf. Both are pretty scary really. But could the storm be considered a villain?

Well it's more the idea behind "the storm" as you call it, which is scary. The emptiness that's left when people lose their hopes, dreams and imagination. There's nothing scarier really.

The Nothing and the Gmork could both be considered villains in a sense. But in the Neverending Story, I'd say The Nothing is the antagonist and Gmork is the contagonist. The main difference is that the goal isn't accomplished by defeating the Gmork; it's beating the Nothing.

You could say that the best villains are the contagonists since their main purpose is to get in the protagonist's way. To throw out some examples:

RoboCop: Clarence Boddicker

Star Wars: Darth Vader

Smokey and the Bandit: Sheriff Bufford T Justice

Just to name a few.
