What kind of a lowlife (Kyle Reese) steals the pants from a hard down on his luck vagrant? At least the Terminator picked on three able bodied young men who some would think had a fighting chance, or who could have run away. Why couldn't Reese have waited til he broke into the department store to find a pair of pants?

I hear you, that’s was a little messed up. But Reese was coming from a time of no department stores and probably couldn’t think straight, maybe from the stress and shock of the time travel (Time-travel lag?)

What always struck me about the scene were the pants itself. Those trousers would be considered stylish in the So Cal 80s sewer punk music scene ….
