Does anybody own the bluray?
Because my first generation DVD is crap. Wondering if it's worth purchasing the bluray. Yes, I still use physical media!

share"Yes, I still use physical media!"
So do I.
These days, you're never sure the version you're about to watch hasn't been tempered with, surreptitiously censored, or otherwise reduxed. With physical media at least, you're sure of the version you get.
Plus, there are the bonuses (for cinephiles, but they're a dying breed these days...) and sometimes the nice cover art!
And to answer your question: yes, there's been a remaster a couple of years ago and the current blu-rays are impeccable (I used to own the DVD, and the first generations of blu-ray with sub-par, artifact laden transfers of the film...).
Yes I own the blu ray and it is definitely worth purchasing.
shareI'm content with my DVD honestly. It's the special edition which can only be bought used now.
shareThank you guys!!! Much appreciated :)
shareI hope to buy the blu-ray very soon.
shareI picked it up a week ago. It looks and sounds awesome!
shareI always had problem with the .45 Longslide sound effect, sounded better on my vhs that was recorded from tv in the 80's
shareSometimes I prefer video versions of movies, especially cheap movies, because there's more atmosphere. Often when a film is remastered, it can look like an episode of an '80s TV show.
shareGreat stuff!
