After the police station massacre, there's no more police to be seen throughout the rest of the movie.

In real life probably all the neighboring police departments would get involved to help, the military would be sent in, the roads would be controlled, the whole place would be on lockdown until they find this guy etc.

And before you tell me there wasn't enough time for a reaction of law enforcement, remember that they spend the whole night under the bridge and then the next day casually check in in the motel, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, and the roads are free for a later car chase.

It's like that police station was the only law enforcement unit in the whole world.

What? that's the only thing you find unrealistic in this movie?
What about when the Terminator crashes the car then suddenly disappears without anybody seeing him leave the scene?
What about when he enters the bar without paying, where were the team of bouncers to eject him. What only one bouncer?

Well, after they left the police station, they went to big bear. While they’re on their way there , you can hear a newscast mentioning that the largest law enforcement mobilization in the state’s history is taking place in order to search LA.

Perhaps the resources in that task taxes nearby agencies, sending all the cops that would have been around during the 3rd act to to LA, where the terminator or Reese was presumed to still be.

There was really very little about this movie that did make sense. The movie was full of flaws that are now pointed out in Youtube clips. Why did the terminator not bleed a whole lot since it was surrounded with living tissue? It only got shot about 15 times point blank with a shot gun in the night club, yet there was never any blood noticeable. Then after the police station massacre, he only had one noticeable bullet hole to the chest and when he hopped over the railing afterwards, you could see his shirt was spotless. Seriously, Hollywood movie makers suck! They just constantly insult peoples intelligence time and time again. But the funny thing is, I and many others still liked the movie. I just tell myself, "it's just a movie". But seriously, I'm sure I could put together much more realistic films than what we've seen and still keep the movie rolling at a good pace.

The terminator doesn't have nearly as much biomass as we do, and it probably needs much less blood to feed its skin, muscles and its tiny pack of organs.

I'm commenting on a piece of fiction, just as you did. I gave you an in-universe explanation on what you think was wrong but was actually right. Take it or leave it.

We seen blood when he did makeshift surgery on his arm. As well as with the one apparent bullet hole he had to the chest in the police station. So one would think there would have been blood visible after being shot repeatedly point blank with a shotgun.

The first time he gets damage to his organic tissue is when the punk stabs him. And Technoir scene is the first time he gets shots multiple times. After Technoir, he probably loses most of his already less than human amounts of blood, his organic parts quickly start to die and he starts to look pale and weird.

Now, one doesn't bleed that much from gunshots and stabs. When someone is shot, you barely notice he is shot, let alone see blood sprays and that. And terminator has much less blood and much smaller organs than we have, i don't think it's implausible he doesn't bleed significantly.

you asked a question. he gave a very obvious and true answer. you didn't like it and are now whining.

With no major organs to feed with oxygen the amount of blood needed would be negligible. his body wouldn't need to contain the average of 5 litres of blood that a human does. considering its a metal shell simply wrapped in skin and its only discernible human organ being the eye, would it even need 10%? of the average blood we have?

Nothing short of marhsall law would have blocked all those roads. Theres just not enough police to cover that large of an area.

Like others said the cops were searching L.A. I'll say even though I love this movie and Terminator 2, there are flaws in both. A scene nobody mentioned in this thread is it shooting the gun store owner in bright daylight. It could've just punched him in the head so hard it kills him and that wouldn't attract attention if anybody happens to be walking by. I will agree with the poster who said it didn't bleed enough from the gun shot wounds. Come to think of it, it doesn't even try to bandage up the wounds on its chest from the shotgun. It'd be bleeding all over the place everywhere it went.

Something that comes to mind in the 2nd one is how the workers in the Steel Mill at the end don't call the cops to come deal with the truck wrecks in the steel mill. The cops would've heard about that and come before the T-1000 had interrogated Sarah to call John. I suppose though the T-1000 probably would've gone out and killed all the cops anyway if they did show up. Not much they can really do to it.

I'm quite happy to believe that if the future robots can make artificial (yet real) skin to cover themselves in , they can "breed" special self cauterising / sealing skin that dosent bleed as much.
