I hate his schoolboy haircut
It makes the terminator look boyish, not menacing. So hard to get over.
Halfway through it changes but why not from the start?
Arnie does look a little silly in the beginning, but his massive frame still makes the character appear superhuman. After his eyebrows and much of his hair are burnt off, the Terminator becomes nightmare fuel. But then, maybe that look wouldn't work so well, had he not made the shift from schoolboy.
shareHave you seen photos of him as a teen/young man body builder? He had such a boyish face, it didn't match his body at all. In this photo it looks like the face of a 10 year old boy pasted on the body of a man.

I think he looked his best in Predator where his face was chiseled to match his body.
