Does anyone else go crazy at the thought of a beautiful, evil essentially dominatrix putting you under her spell wearing those sexy clothes? I thought this the first time I saw it when I was like 10! WOW
HELLO! Right Here! Selena is one hell of a character and yes, very sexy. One look at her dominating posture and more than blossoming prowess at magic and you feel she is definitely capable of anything. She's a very alluring and intimidating character. The way she intends to get at Ethan...very sexy! Her lines about "to the seeds we'll plant together"...oh yeah.
When will you ever learn, this feeling is all you can discern?
Spot on buddy. I just remember this being one of the moments that made me switched on to the female species at an early age. I did the cuckold thing once where I was used by a lady to make her boyfriend jealous. He watched us go at it in a hotel room all night. Maybe this movie sparked something inside of me. Who knows. Love it though

To answer your question: no. But otherwise, yes Faye Dunaway was beautiful in her own right. She made an excellent villain.
Supergirl needed something to differentiate herself from Superman. So a supernatural threat, and thus a supernatural villain, was in order. While Selina was for all intents and purposes Wonder Woman's Circe (Selina doesn't exist in the comics) she otherwise made perfect sense in Supergirl. She was Lex if he was female and practiced magic, complete with her own female Otis (Bianca).
Completely agree. Most beautiful woman of all time for me. Helen Slater was cute but Faye Dunaway's sex appeal was off the charts! 😍
