Plot hole?

The term is over used and not sure if it applies. Why did Kara need a disguise right off the bat. Seems unnecessary for this movie.

...because she landed in Chicago as herself and was approached by a few unfavorable truck drivers. She realized this was no place to be conducting herself in such a fashion, so she found a disguise to aid her in her journey. 

When will you ever learn, this feeling is all you can discern?

reply

Correct.

She knew she had to fit in - elsewise she'd run in to people who think she's just trying to be like 'Superman' and bring some form of harm about her. Stranger in a strange place as they say. Note too, that She learns how the world views her cousin in this scene with the truck drivers, and the fickle nature of earthlings.

reply

Yeah, and she really rang that guy's bell.

reply

Yeah, and she really rang that guy's bell.

Yep. Hit him in the Brass Ring. LOL. I'da done more to him, but it was a simple mechanism for self defense, and Superheroes don't beat the *beep* out of people for no reason.

reply

Yeah, she also would have attracted unwanted attentions to herself by beating this guy up. Plus it's a PG movie that existed just before the dawn of PG-13 so they couldn't take those kind of liberties lol. Not a plot hole at all like some people like to say it is.
