Blu Ray
I have been a fan of this film ever since it was released in 1984. I own the 1984 VHS tape and the DVD. Is it because of the music and copyright laws that are preventing this from entering the Blu-Ray market? I remember right before this film came out, there was a documentary on the making of this film that incorporated a lot of behind the scenes material and interviews with the cast, circa 1984. I am sure there are a lot of fans (who probably don't want to admit it) who are fans of this film that would like to see a Blu-Ray release of this film. It would be nice if Universal could include the 1984 making of documentary and maybe track down a couple of the cast members for a retrospective look at the film and what they think about it now, and lastly maybe a short interview with director Walter Hill. If not, since that film was chock full of music from 1984, how about a couple of music videos. I know I would spend a couple of extra bucks to own this on Blu-Ray. Heck, if the can release low budget movies such as The Evil Dead movies on Blu-Ray format, why can't Universal add this film to the market. It was also be nice if Warner brothers could add 1983's The Right Stuff on Blu-Ray.I am a serious movie buff for decades. I own 5,000 films (no joke). VHS-1718 DVD-2996 and Blu-Ray-286. I have been a fan of movies ever since I could talk. Just my opinion, what do all think of a Blu-Ray release?
