What if Ellen sang Bruce Springsteen's song in SOF?

Can you imagine how the movie would have been if Ellen Aim sang "Streets of Fire" by Bruce Springsteen somewhere in the movie? When the movie came out, I read how this was the original plan.

I also read that there was a good possibility that if Bruce agreed to let his song be performed, the producers were going to have Ellen sing it at the very end. So instead of singing "Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young," Ellen would be singing Bruce's song.

Even though I love how Ellen performed "Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young" at the end, I wonder if Bruce's song would have had the same effect.

What do you think? Would the movie be much different if Ellen would have sang Bruce's song somewhere in the movie, in addition to the other songs she sang?
