She just got into town, doesn't know anyone, and is crashing on someone's couch she just met.

HOW does she know her way around town so well? Where the (?) underpass is? C'mon man........

It's the same underpass they parked under on their way in, so yes, she knows where it is.

Agree with the other poster. Plus she was with Billy who had grew up in the Battery so he could guide her.
