apart from the mermaid movies that he other guy has answered to you,,,yes there are more...there's 1.THE LITTLE MERMAID. ,both in cartoon and non-cartoon types,2.MERMAIDS(tv movie by pax networks,australia about 3 mermaid sisters trying to avenge the death of their murdered father,3.FISHTALES(starring kelly brook and billy zane),4.the phillipino mermaid sitcoms-DYESEBEL,DUYUNG,MARINA among others(i think you'll be most impressed with dyesebel among these three,i was).5.then there's a japanese mermaid movie-MERMAID GOT MARRIED.i think you should check out more mermaid sitcoms and movies of these south-east asian countries.i think you'll be satisfied as these countries have made quite a no of movies and sitcoms on the mermaid legend,IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN.6.then there's the brazillian mermaid tv show-O CANTO DAS SEREIAS,but they shot only about 8 episodes as it was said that filming was too difficult/costly.7.there's SEA PEOPLE by the hallmark channel-though the characters are not mermaids,i think you'll like it nonetheless as it revovles around the suspicions of a nosy, young teenage girl towards an old couple that she suspected them of being a mer-couple...atleast she was half-right.8.there's splash too,with new cast members but i wouldn't recommend it...you'll be dissapointed i think.there's some more i know but i can't remember them right now...sorry.anyway you can check them out on youtube as this site surprising contains mostly off-beat,not known mermaid clips which generally comes from movies and sitcoms that are unexpectedly stumbled upon sometimes.tell you what..type splash on google...then enter imdb's splash page,go a bit down and then click on the 'plot keywords' category.then click on the 'mermaid' category,then y'll find many if not all mermaid movies and sitcoms over the years.i think it must be the best collection of half-human,half-fish stuff....heehee.you can also go to he splash fan website where you'll come across some never seen before behind the scenes photos and edited clips/story parts among other things..i'm sure you'll be impressed,i definitely was.it was gr8 to help you out.if anything new comes by,i'll let you know.....ciao-robert.
