Kornbluth
Did anybody feel bad for Dr. Kornbluth? I kinda did. He goes through all that crap to find Madison and expose her(not condoning it in any way),and then he's told he wasn't a "man of science",and gets blown off.

shareYeah i did feel sorry for Walter. It seemed like all he wanted was recognition and to be told he mattered. After Dr Ross took over, he just put him down. At least Walter redeemed himself in the end and Madison did forgive him:)

If i have to admit i did feel sorry for him actually
He did go through all that trouble
He was told the stories just to be entertaining and then told they were not even real stories, but he found out that they were and set out to proove it
Only to get blown off and then fall down a hole "What a week i'm having!"

To be completely honest, I didn't feel bad for Kornbluth. If he truly was a "man of science" he would've realized what Dr. Ross and the rest of those scientists would do with Madison. I don't think I could've forgiven him. Then again, I do have a nasty habit of holding grudges. LOL
shareI think he didn't think that far ahead. He even said he didn't realize the impact it would have on Madison and Allen, he just wanted to be proven right. But I do agree on the one part, he had to know they were going to study her and everything. No way they were just going to let her go.
shareI didn't feel bad for him at all. But my impression Of Kornbluth, was that he himself did not 'recognize' Madison as a being with feelings & rights.
He thought of her as an object.
But once he really saw her, he realized what he had done & realized he did feel bad.
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
Another thing: I wonder if Madison's fellow merfolk would forgive him for proving they exist?... In fantasy movies, TV shows, etc., mermaids/mermen and all other mythical creatures try to keep their true selves hidden which I totally understand. But now that Kornbluth has proven their existence by exposing Madison...you know what kind of things are bound to happen, right? LOL
