When Captain Davenport and Corporal Ellis enter the building to see Captain Taylor for the first time, a sergeant stands and introduces himself as 'Sergeant Weston'. Who was the actor who played Weston? For some reason, it was not in the credits. I have seen him before and I can't put my finger on where it was.

The actor's name is (was) John Hancock. He is listed in the credits as playing Sgt. Washington. Now I know where I saw him; the James Garner movie called Tank, in which he played the mess hall sergeant.
