And why? Budgetary restraints.

This means the one film company who took this orphan in and let it get created on film (for only $5 million, which nowadays doesn't even take care of spoiled actor's food budgets for most films) didn't even think about much else in the way of promotion except a horribly slanted trailer that I remember seeing bak then in an Army theater back in Washington State in late 1984.

Sad.
