I feel like Netflix changed out the music of the main title sequence? Can anyone verify?

Hi. I just checked the DVD version and its the same track on Netflix.

I just watched this on Netflix, and sine I hadn't seen the whole film in one go before, I couldn't tell if music was changed. However, I know that with Weird Science there are discrepancies with the songs depending on the version of the video.

Yes it's changed. I'm watching it now and they changed most of the music. They do this because it's cheaper or something to stream and broadcast.

The Netflix Version is actually the Correct One. TV in the 80's often times had different cuts for time slots etc. This is the Theatrical Version, which has the correct music. Well, in my house it does.

I've not watched it on Netflix but I wouldn't be surprised - the Betamax version (yes I actually had a Beta VCR a long time ago - this movie was the reason I bought my first VCR) had some different music (the opening credit scenes was the one I most remember) and even had no music in at least one scene where there was music originally ("Young Americans" was edited out from the scene when the family was leaving for the wedding).
