Why do Asian actors/actresses even accept roles like that??

I mean, when he read the script, he could have obviously realized that this was a racist piece. Why did he even accept to do it? Same goes for Asian actresses who accept roles where they are overly sexualized.

Two main reasons:

1. $$$

2. People were more rational then, and didn't get all woked up about stupid shit.

The same reason overrated John Hughes thought racial stereotypes were cute. Don't forget, many Asian Americans today Suck Up to Racist White Conservatives to "fit in"
