Butchered DVD

This was once released with both the full screen and anamorphic 2.35 version? And now it has only the full screen version. That's crazy.

I was hoping my copy would have the 2.35 version after what I had read but no such luck. Looks like I will have to look for used copies and ask the sellers if they can confirm 2.35. I also saw it released in Japan, stating both full and wide versions, so that might be worth looking into as well.
