Not bad...

Sheena--the female cross between Tarzan, Rambo and the Beastmaster--and an American reporter try to protect her village, which contains miraculous dirt, from an evil prince and his militaristic cohorts.

It starts off kind of slow, but gets better in the second half. The worst thing here is Ted Wass' terrible dialog. I don't know why it's hated so much, though it would be better if they had toned it down for the kiddies (contains nudity and graphic violence).

After Lynda Carter (who played Wonder Woman), Tanya Roberts was the second crush I ever had on a white woman. And it was all because of The Beastmaster and Sheena, LOL...........That woman is still looking pretty good today.

No the movie doesn't look bad but the acting is bad (I thought Wass acting was terrible). Roberts acting wasn't bad but the action scenes where it was her, not her stunt double, didn't look good. It seems she is straining to climb a tree and rock where it should be natural for a person who grew up there. Also, she didn't beef up for the role, her arms are skinny. I think someone like Sheena would have a little more muscle. For a PG movie it contains more nudity than some R rated movies that supposedly have a lot of nudity. And lastly the running time is a bit long. This is the type of movie where you watch with the mute button on Wass dialog.

Sheena was the very first movie I saw in a theater, and Tanya is perhaps my first crush with a movie star.

Tanya was the first woman I ever saw naked on screen. She looked so beautiful in Sheene, especially since she was not wearing hardly any clothing. This was a horny boys dream movie. I still pull it out whenever I see her in a View to a Kill because it makes me want to see her body.
