Theme song

Hello!

I've seen the movie and I just love Tanya Roberts (and the theme song too). Since I can't have the first, can you help me with the second? I've desperately tried to find out what the theme song is called, or who played it.. I don't have the movie so I can't look at the credits. If you can help me please email me
(thecreeep [at] gmail [dot] com).

Btw, nice movie :D. Not that original but the acting was good. Three stars out of five.

Well I've searched for that soundtrack for 20 years and just managed to finde it on emule. It's by Richard Hartley

The theme song is very similar if not the same as some of the music in the Princess Bride. Don't know if the same guy did both but I just heard it and remembered Princess Bride.

Just heard the theme song on StreamingSoundtracks.com and thought the theme was VERY VERY similar to the Chariots of Fire theme. Maybe it's just me.

Hi
The soundtrack is avaible at www.screenarchives.com the cost is abit high around $59.95 but if you like the music it won't matter. The theme music is called Sheena's Theme .Hope this has helped.

I saw the movie about 1985, and still remember all...But most of all, the music.
I was very young but I remember the score very well (hearted, deep, sensorial...simply great!)

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger"... Nietzsche (Conan The Barbarian Opening)

Personally I think Richard Hartley's score is one of the best things about this movie. I grew up with the movie and although I'm well aware of how cheesy it is I cannot hate it. Sometimes I'm just play Hartley's score (which I have on CD) when I'm feeling down and it'll immediately pick me up. Well, except for the sad "Marika and the Water Deer" (due to what it precedes in the film).

My favorite tracks apart from "Sheena's Theme" are "The Encounter" (I just love the bad guys' forboding one-note theme) and "Young Sheena." In fact "Young Sheena" is the track that cheers me up the most, since it's filled with so much hope and wonder, and man, do I sound melodramatic.

Anyway I adore Hartley's score for the same reason I prefer Tangerine Dream's Legend score to Jerry Goldsmith's: it's unintrusive and flows with the movie rather than calling too much attention to itself.

The movie itself was just silly. But, the music was pretty good. It's almost a criminal offense to have such an outstanding film score wasted on this movie!
