Good things about it.

I saw it on TV recently so if there was anything bad, I didn't see it.
I can say that the portrayal of Africans was realistic and inoffensive. Many Africans would dress like Americans, listen to American music with some college educated and excelling in it. Nothing for blacks to complain about.
Was it intending to be a family film? Then should nudity be toned down? With changes it could have been big hit perhaps. Or maybe it would have worked better as TV series like that Zeena was. (That is, if seeing Sheena in erotic scenes with a beautiful African female, then African male and later white guy is okay with you since in today's modern times by Zeena type writers, we'd have that--with big Internet discussion if Sheena and hot African female are lovers)

There are several good things about "Sheena." Being based on a comic jungle heroine, everyone knows going in that the plot, dialog and acting of a film like this will be of the comic book variety with a similar tone to Tarzan flicks or Indiana Jones. What's magnificent, awe-inspiring and "A" level are the African locations (Kenya), the entertaining array of animals, the grand score and the stunning Tanya Roberts in the titular role.

Despite her (tame) nudity, there's an innocent quality to the proceedings, like Adam & Eve before the fall. As such, I don't see it as inappropriate for kids.

They shot on location in Kenya and the movie does look gorgeous. And Tanya Roberts is naked. But that's about it.
