This is a non-sexual nude scene. Too bad everyone in here keeps thinking of it as sexual. This is why ratings are so strict now. They give violence a lower rating, but behold a nipple and you get a higher rating. Nudity and sex are and can be two different things.

That's because in the early 80's there was only adult magazines to jerk off too, but being a pre-teen/teen during this time, it wasn't very easy to get. Watching a movie with nudity on the other hand (no pun intended) was quite a step up, especially if you had a VCR.

I mean, how many teens in the late 70's or early 80's fantasized about getting one of those 8mm projectors and reel in the back of a Hustler to watch porn?

Betamax did exist in the early eighties, so I'd say no one fantasized about 8mm in 1984. It sounds like you're referring to an earlier era.

You can’t separate the two. You show a hot woman naked and guys will want to have sex with her.

Also, you show a hot woman dressed and guys will want to see her naked and have sex with her.

It’s natural. It’s biological. It’s normal.

Guys who don’t want to have sex with hot women shown on screen, especially naked, are the ones with psychological issues.

The only "complaint" that I have with the nude/topless scenes is that there are NOT nearly enough of them. NOR do they last anywhere near long enough. NOR was there ANY full frontal shots of her. That said, they were great, even better then her nude/topless scenes in The Beastmaster.

Yes, there are -- under the waterfall near the beginning; she's pretty far away though, which is why you're (probably) not counting it. Far away or not, it's a full frontal scene and you can see her beaver. It helps if you have a big screen TV.

Agreed on all points.

She is shown full frontal BTW. My complaint is she didn’t have a bush. Why would a jungle girl be shaved?

Though I am glad she didn’t have hairy pits.

I agree that was a great moment. Getting to see Tanya Roberts in basically a jungle bikini for 2 hours and then seeing her nude in 2 great scenes make this movie watchable. I think the waterfall scene is the better of the two. I love to see a wet naked body. She also had a nice PG nude scene in the beastmaster. That had a better story and action and again Tanya wore skimpy clothing.

The poor girl is freezing to death in that waterfall shower scene near the beginning. Het nips are at attention, but you can see her little legs quivering.

Sheena all sprawled and spread across a bareback zebra fueled my teenage wet dreams for years.

And that little costume revealed just enough to keep hope alive for a glimpse of the Golden Palace of the Himalayas.

Regardless, let me tell you, this is one of the most innocent nudies I've ever seen. There is nothing in-your-face about it. When Tanya slips out of her already skimpy costume, there is no bump and grind, she simply lets her God-given beauty be free. No wonder this film got a PG rating. There is nothing offensive about the nudity.

No there is nothing offensive at all about the nudity in this movie and I did not complain about it because when I was 12 years old when this movie came out I wanted to go see it because of Tanya Roberts being nude in it.

About a year later I went to Spain and found up in a atic a stack of Playboy magazines and one of the issues was about Tanya Roberts being in The Beastmaster. That was a great movie too!

You do not see this in movies now a days. You hardly see any nudity at all I should say in movies today because I think they have toned down on showing things like this due to people ruining it for us to enjoy you know.

Yeah, unfortunately we have LESS female nudity nowadays.....but more graphic MALE nudity. Its an absolute crime! In the past, we used to be able to see boobs in PG or PG-13 movies, and there were even a few full-frontal female nude scenes in PG-13 movies (like Beautiful Dreamers). The R-rated movies would give us lots of female bush and no penises. It was great! It used to be a man's world back then.

Nowadays though, life is hell, when it comes to movie nudity.If you go to a comedy, you are almost always accosted by having to see some guy's penis. (Walk Hard, Forgeting Sarah Marshall, Bruno, Jack-Ass 3D, The Hangover, etc) Its disgusting. I used to love comedies, now I avoid them. It used to be hot FEMALE nudity in the movies....now we get almost no female nudity (just occasional boobs) and the most graphic male nudity allowed (close-ups of penises). We NEVER see a vagina or any full female genitalia (pubic hair is rare and this is NOT actual female genitalia. Only the clitoris, labia, or anus is full female genitalia and we are never allowed to see that). I don't no why things suck so much. Men need to start complaining about this and demand that we see FEMALE nudity in our films again; NOT just male nudity. I wish we could see full female nudity of beautiful women in mainstream PG-13 films....then it would be a man's world again. Instead, Hollywood just seems to be denying us men what we want to see and catering to the desires of closet homosexuals and feminists.

I've always wandered if those titties were fake. Somewhere in Tanya's bio I saw that she had 32 or 34B, and then it was changed to 32 or 34C. Isn't there a subtle boob job there?

If you can find it, check out HEARTS AND ARMOR, an Italian flick that was quite amazing... Tanya looks her most stunning best in it.
