Not forgiveness but kindness?
After a couple of recent rewatchings, I have thoughts on the theme folks have discussed so mindfully here.
The film makes myriad references to spirituality. I think places in the heart are where spirituality dwells, empowering kindness to others. Those who make room in the heart for spirituality reap the rewards of kindness. Those who give it a lesser place suffer the consequences.
