Could this movie be made today?

In the twentieth century, when a man of color was accused of raping a white woman in a movie, he always turned out to be innocent, of course, but the blame was typically placed on the woman. To Kill a Mockingbird is the best known example. But since the turn of the twenty-first century, we have acquired greater sympathy for women whose claims of rape are not believed. So a movie about a woman who falsely accuses of a man of rape would not be accepted so readily today as in the past. For that reason, I do not believe that To Kill a Mockingbird, A Passage to India, or other such movies blaming the woman when a man of color is accused of raping her could be remade today.
