Given two choices I too would choose BNB.

You should definitely try to watch more than two baseball movies,there are many more worse than this.

It definitely didnt need that rape scene. Totally unnecessary and way too long.

Agreed. No diversity at all. The Bad News Bears at least had diversity. My biggest problem is they used the N word, which is a word that, if you even think of uttering it, will get you fired. This how the knights who say 'ni' were started.

Redford probably couldn't hit a baseball more than 5 feet.

I believe he played some college ball. In any case, he had a decent swing. Even at his age in this film, I wouldn't doubt he couldn't hit one 300' plus.
