I cant understand how Max didn't recognize or know Roy when he saw him again. "The best there ever was, is and will be" (paraphrasing) then this guy strikes him out on 3 pitches and he forgets? He even drew the picture and wrote his name above him. Lol Max should get a room at the maternity ward too. Im thinking dementia. Im damn sure I'd never his name.

Max had seen Roy but once and only for a few minutes, and that was when Roy was a kid (let's forget Redford playing young Roy for a minute :) ). Yeah, Roy struck out the Whammer but home run hitters tend to strike out a lot anyway, and the Whammer was not warmed up, stretched out, and probably had a snoot full as well.
Max's memory was triggered when Roy threw the impromptu pitch past his teammate like he did the against The Whammer. Not that big a deal that Max forgot him after seeing him once 15 years earlier.
