Ultimately a Very Positive Portrayal of America

The movie didn’t pull any punches in showing the downsides of freedom and capitalism. But the overarching message was that the U.S.A. and Americans were welcoming people and that an immigrant willing to sacrifice and work hard could build a good life here. I loved the scene with all the different people from around the globe getting their citizenship and the speech from the judge on the occasion was well written.
