the Movie that I'm thinking-of had a Woman posessed by a Demon ... started-out really-well , but got really-dumb towards the Ending.

Maybe MAUSOLEUM (1983) with Bobbie Bresee? Although I don't remember the ending being really dumb.

Perhaps KILLER PARTY (1986)?

Good old Mausoleum! Another possibility might be Satan's Mistress with Lana Turner, she gets down with a succubus or something like that. You can find it on a DVD under the title Demon Seed.

Woman being possessed by a demon is a vague description. That pretty much occurs in every movie with demons that have the ability to possess people
