RAMBO 2 RIPPED THIS ONE OFF,WITH A COMBINATION OF PART 2 AS WELL.DON'T FORGET,CHUCK STARTED THE ONE MAN ARMY VIETNAM MOVIES,AND EVERYONE ELSE FOLLOWED.EVEN DAVID CARRADINE GOT INVOLVED IN IT AS WELL,WITH P.O.W. THE ESCAPE,LOL.

RAMBO 2 WAS JUST A RIP OFF OF THIS ONE.ACTUALLY NOW IF YOU WATCH MISSING IN ACTION 2:THE BEGINNING,YOU WILL SEE WHAT HE WAS BEING CHARGED FOR IN THE FIRST ONE.PART 2 WAS A PREQUEL.

IF U WATCH MISSING IN ACTION 2,THEN U WILL SEE IT IS A PREQUEL TO THIS ONE.U GET TO SEE WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE BRADDOCK WITH IN THIS ONE.THE RAT IN THE BAG SCENE WAS VERY INTENSE.

eeeh wrong, James Cameron wrote the treatment to Rambo II in 1983, and Cannon films heard about the the story line and shot MIA I and II back to back in 1984, before Rambo II was released!

MPAA... cinema enemy #1

reply

Not only did MIA come out a good 18 months before Rambo 2, Chuck Norris' action was a lot more believable ... and he didn't give a lame-ass speech at the end.

Perhaps you should go back to school and learn how to count. MIA came out 6 months before Rambo II. YET, MIA was a rip-off. Who would have thought a movie studio would actually rip-off a big blockbuster STILL in production?? Well, here ya go with MIA!

NO, YOU IS DEFINITELY SUCK!
See? I can type like a moron, too.

I would probably say MISSING was better than the Rambo sequels, but FIRST BLOOD was better than this one.

If only these two mcould team up.

RAMBO 2 RIPPED OFF STUFF FROM THIS SO BAD.AND I WONDER IF THEY TOOK ANYTHING FROM PART 2,BEING IT WAS MADE ALONG WITH THIS ONE AS WELL.

I agree with you,Missing In Action had heart to it.It had that sense where a man was determined to do what the rest of America wouldn't do,and that was get our men back home.Rambo 2 tried to do the same, but it went a little more over the top,in my eyes. You could also notice a few scenes in each film are almost very similiar too.

I prefer MISSING IN ACTION because most of the action isn't as over the top as RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART 2, but I prefer MISSING IN ACTION 2: THE BEGINNING to either film because Braddock comes off as a real jerk a lot of the time in the original and keeps his mouth shut and bides his time in the prequel.
