Very good

This was very enjoyable.

Robotech is my favourite anime (be it series or movie) of all time, and seeing this was a surprise, but also a pleasant surprise.

The movie seems to be a condensed version of the series, or the series is an expanded version of the movie. In any event, it's still superb. Hearing the voices in Japanese is certainly different, however, it worked.

This "alternate" story was a pleasant watch, to what we are used to with Robotech, and it worked really well. The music was also really good. Animation is great, and the explosions in this as well as Harmony Gold series are always glorious to watch.

The version I watched was the an uncensored version, and there are some surprising things in it, not what the normal fan would be used to.

It was wonderful to see those characters again.

Definite recommended watch.
