Yea i noticed macross 2 and the macross plus movies are on dvd and i was wondering has "macross do you remember love" been released on DVD in america?
Afraid not! The only way to get it is to download it somewhere with subtitles. Or, some anime sites have dvd versions, but they are all imports...so it can be risky. Sorry to break the bad news...

I wouldn't say buying import anime DVDs is risky. I've got 54 of them (32 of which are from Japan, Hong Kong or Korea, the rest are from the USA. Yes I'm a Brit) and only 2 are bootlegs, those being the only 2 I'll ever imported from Thailand.
Trust me, the import market isn't the DVD-R strewn minefield many people think it is. But I will give you 2 bits of advice:
01 - When buying asian pressings try and purchase them from reputable retailers such as www.yesasia.com or power sellers/stores on eBay. With the above exception, I have never been ripped off and got some very good prices into the bargain (the Thai DVDs were off eBay).
In the statisticaly unlikly case you are ripped off on eBay do not worry about leaving negative feedback even if they have left positive feedback for you and/or delivered the item in good time, and then, as they say, "put it down to experience" (this dependes on how much you are ripped off for. Bootlegs are by their very nature usualy "bargains" so it usualy isn't worth starting a grievenese)
02 - As much as it pains me to say it, give anything "region 0" or "region all" that doesn't originate from Hong Kong a very wide berth. Region 0 is all but standard in Hong Kong. Hong Kong's famous bootleg market is mostly CD-V titles, though there are some DVDs so best to follow the advice in point 01 (ie buy only from reputable dealers etc)
Anything on eBay that is region 2 UK or Europe will be legit (but check for English subs/dubs before buying), ditto anything region 4 Australia. While region 2 Japan or region 3 Asia will almost definatly be legit, it is best to carfully check a sellers feedback before buying.
