Well, I'll say this much... it was worlds better than 'Space Mutiny.'

Don't get me wrong; "The Last Horror Film" wasn't a great movie by any stretch of the word. But I'll admit that it kept my interest. I can hardly believe this is the same director as "Space Mutiny," which had to be one of the worst movies ever made, even with the "MST3K" treatment - though was also one of the funniest episodes ever made.

Of course, "The Last Horror Film" is often too cheesy to be taken seriously, but there are other times where the special effects were so graphic that I found myself looking away briefly. It's not every day you see a little old lady as a serial killer, even if that was just a movie within the movie. Of course, the one who really kept interest in this film was Joe Spinell (R.I.P.), who could just make this look on his face that screamed psychopath.

I didn't need to see him in drag, though. Hell, I don't know what that scene had to do with anything.

And that "High Wire" song - that was just annoying.

Yeah, I didn't like "High Wire." That doesn't mean I'm not a conisseur of different forms of eighties music. And I did like the rest of the film.

I haven't met anyone who is a fan of cheesy 80's songs and movies who didn't love with this film.

Well, I never said I liked the CHEESY music. Most of what I like from the eighties was heavier, though yes, I suppose some of that was cheesy as well.

Don't get me wrong on any of this... I enjoyed the movie. I just wasn't a fan of "High Wire."

Yeah, you could say that. AC/DC, KISS, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Motley Crüe, Britny Fox, Def Leppard, Poison, Black 'n Blue, WASP, Pantera, Accept, and Judas Priest to name a few, though admittedly, some of these bands were more popular in the nineties.

I'd look at most of these bands as 70's bands. At least he first you listed.

When you said heavy 80's I thought something more on the lines of Metallica, Antrhax, Twisted Sister and Megadeth. Though you did name some good bands.

Actually, I forgot to list Metallica, Twisted Sister, and Megadeth. I definitely did get into them and still am. I never really got into Anthrax, though.

I've always been a fan of 'Among the Living' and their rendition of 'Bring the Noise' on Attack of the Killer B's CD.
