Dith Pran born the 27th of September 1942 and passed on the 30th of March 2008.
All his brothers and one sister were killed by the KR and he lost approximately 50 of his family members, not to mention nearly 2 million countrymen. He survived over 4 years of starvation, torture and despair and once freed, never gave up the quest to spread the word in hopes of preventing future atrocities for all races.

I was very sadden by his death. The poor man had cancer. He went through hell and back yet remained unaffected by all the cruelty the KR did to him. Why these atrocities happen I do not know...the human condition may be....this is the reason I have no faith in a "God" however mother nature always has the last laugh on all of us. I hope the human race goes on to better things yet I very much doubt it ! May the rememory of Dith Pran last forever.
