mamma! baby! mamma! baby! mamma! baby!

oh man - watching that poor robot get wasted broke my heart! poor robot! his (I assume) "wife" and "baby" were torn to shreds before his eyes! what a tragic yet slightly amusing moment!

Come to me! I vant to schtatt!

The black martial arts robot was pretty good, too. Very comical.

It was a seriously hard scene to laugh at because it was so depressing. My girlfriend actually cried the first time she saw it! I actually use this as a ringtone on my phone. I'd also like to point out that the best part is a few moments later when the bad guy is exiting the club the daddy robot is still there and he just sort of shoves it out of the way...how heartless.

"Have you paid your dues Jack? Yes sir, the check is in the mail."

"I actually use this as a ringtone on my phone"

you sir, are truly radical!

Yeah, that was a Buzz Kill

It would bother me but I assume that being robots they can be put back together. In some ways I feel more sorry for Frog Lady. She didn't know what she was getting into.

It was a great part of the film to watch though in my opinion. Yes it is sad, but that is how they wanted to do that scene in the movie. It worked and it is still in my head today! LOL

Absolutely! I really like this movie, but that scene was just f-ed up.

I guessed I'm just really f'ed up. When I was a kid, my brothers and I replayed that scene over and over on the family Betamax. It was just too funny to think of robots having families - that can feel suffering after a family tragedy.

BTW, I always assumed that the surviving robot was an older son instead of a father robot. After all it was crying for it's mommy. Again being so f'ed up myself, this somehow seems more funny... And to add insult to injury why they had to make that little baby robot so cute truly shows some pretty sick sense of humor.
