Ive been waiting for ever for this and Godzilla v biollante to be released on DVD, especially Godzilla 1984. Anyone have any ideas when that may happen???

ya man, no release for North America yet, however they did just release these movies on blue ray disc in Asia, so if you got a region 3 DVD player u could order The Return Of Godzilla and Godzilla Vs Biollante from yesasia for 8$ american go to www.tokyomonsters.com for more details. Im hoping either Classic Media or Sony release these two movies sometime soon, im favoring CM a little more than Sony cause CM tends to do better in releasing Godzilla classics. The last i heard about these movies coming to North America was early 2005 where Sony were in talks with Toho and WarnerBros(They own Godzilla 1985 rights in North America) and were talking to Miramax, who owns the rights to Godzilla Vs Biollante, so far no new news tho.

Since they released Gorjira and Godzilla, King of the Monsters on the same DVD, I hope they will release Gojira (1984)/Godzilla 1985 on the same DVD.

The rest are owned by SONY(16 movies), ADV Films has destroy all monsters, UNIVERSAL has king kong vs. godzilla, LAKESHORE has Godzilla 1984, DIMENSION has godzilla vs. biollante. godzilla vs. megalon i don't know.
Classic media is releasing all the godzilla films on new dvds, as well as rodan and war of the gargantuas
