is it me or is it just not fun unless Godzilla FIGHTS someone?

I was born in the mid 70s & was raised with mostly the 60s/70s "campy" Godzillas.

But I recall everytime I saw Godzilla '54 or Godzilla '84...I dunno...something was missing...a BADDIE! I guess I need a Godzilla vs. SOMETHING!

Anyone agree? Even when I first saw godzilla 84 I was a bit bored he was only fighting that Super X thingy.

no i persoanly like it better when its just him in the movies.. i think they made to cartony with other monsters, imo godzilla is suppose to be a pest a thorn in morden humane kind, a reminder of the horros of nuclear weapons. and plus when its just him its more serious like godzilla 1954, the return of godzilla..

Godzilla is too big a star to be expected to share the screen with lesser monsters.

Well, it's okay if he ends up fighting a man-made robot/monster or some other threat wherein the humans have no choice but to try and trick Godzilla into fighting it.

Portray him not as a hero, but a force of nature man tries to destroy or use to its advantage.
