Should the Reboot be more like this one?

For the 2014 reboot, I think it might be a good move on Toho's part to make another serious, scary Godzilla movie like this one. But Godzilla can't fight anyone. Anyone agree monsters fighting kind of takes the seriousness away? And yes, I know we're talking about giant monsters.

I'm not saying take it away for good. He can always fight another monster in the future.

Well...Godzilla vs. Biollante managed to be pretty damn serious AND it featured another monster for him to fight.

Did that one even get released in North America? I'd like to see it.

I'd still prefer the dubbed version. Reading subtitles just distracts me from actually watching the movie it seems.

I prefer dubbing when I'm just trying to relax and watch something. That, and for some reason Toho decided to use yellow for the subtitles, so I can't read half of what the people are saying in the black and white movies >_<

YES YES YES YES YES!!!! I just made a post about this before I saw this thread. Godzilla movies are always best when they focus on him.

OZ is the best show ever... EVER!
