Who is the double-joint dancer?

I don't even know how to ask this, since I'm really old. But does anyone know the name of the guy at the end dance who does that loos-jointed type of dance, and moon walks? He is so darling! I don't know how else to describe what he does. Thanks.

I've always referred to him as "The Out-of-Town-Guy" since he couldn't possibly dance that well and be from such a repressed hick town. Flown in specially from the set of Flashdance extras maybe. Anyway he's not officially credited in Footloose.

He's one of the non-Beaumont teens that are bussed from Basin to attend school in Beaumont(of course, Beaumont's "no dancing" law isn't enforced in Basin, hence Basin kids are keen on all the modern dance moves...and are the ones that show off in the final dance scene :D)

Of course, there's also the funny excuse that all those kids were repressing their "need" to dance so much, when they finally "let it out", it manifested in this whole "out of body" experience where they were possessed by pure dancing energy. LOL!

I thought the brunette dancer at the end who does all the break dancing moves was HOT. Incredibly good looking guy...

haha came here with the same question. That dude was great. And remember, by that time there was no youtube or internet to learn those things. I only got impressed again with that kind of moves by this guy:

The blonde breakdancer's sick! I've gotta learn those moves.

Don't know the extra's name. I think he, along with all the other good dancers, were hired and filmed in LA.

These were the kids spending all their free time watching MTV and dancing in their basements.

He spent most of his time hanging out in the African American neighborhoods obviously. lol
