I can't believe something this awful even exists.

Its a total POS, reminds me of why the 80s were embarrassing, white people who thought they should dance.

White people can dance, jack@$$. Blacks think they're so special when it comes to music and dance. Black muzak and dance is just jungle boogie copied from monkeys.

It wasn't so much about the dancing, but more so about the cheesiness of moralist religious authority figures in the early 80's trying to find ways to control teens and keep them in line. Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority movement was losing ground around the time this came out.

Chass437 white people thought they should dance , everybody can dance not just a certain group of people your statement sounds a bit racist . This was a great movie great story and great soundtrack

And Elephantlips if you don't like a movie why comment on here , I can think of worse movies than footloose , anyway footloose was a great movie , why was it bad ?
