Kids were dancing Way too good at the end scene.
There mustve been a secret underground dance academy teaching those kids..

shareExactly.
shareDancing was never banned in my town and our prom didn't look anything like that.
Maybe we should of banned dancing and seen if we could of gotten a few professional dancers out of it.
Haha. I was thinking about that too OP. How do all these kids dance so amazingly well when it's been banned (along with pop music) for yrs?
shareThink of all the places kids got really good at smoking weed where it was illegal.
I view it as more of a fantastical exuberant moment of joy and passion.
True story: The prom (?) was originally plain and believable, and then a filmmaker decided it needed to be punched up and have a big pay-off worthy of the fight and drama earlier in the film.
How hard is it to smoke pot? Any idiot can do that....
shareNah, outs just obvious they used professional (or semi pro) dancers and it was choreographed. Just like many movies. One example being the prom in She's All That.
shareWho knew that the whole time, the town was secretly populated by professional dancing kids that just weren't allowed to express themselves?
Also, who paid for all that glitter at the end?
When your town outlaws dancing, you put away glitter here and there when you can come by it.
Because county jail be damned, one day you and your homeboys is gonna get ******* turnt and need 500 pounds of glitter.
Yes I've always had this question too. And they aren't just good dancers, most of them are break dancing, which is tough to learn, esp in a town like that.
shareLol I always thought the same thing!!
