I heard today through the grapevine that a new movie is being made by an Australian film director/producer by the name of Dennis Smith. It's a documentary and the Boyce's are going to be interviewed? I think. Does anyone know any more than this???

shareActually - I have now heard that there is going to be a new movie. Apparently, cinema people in this country prefer to release movie after movie of cartoon spin-offs while Australia gets the scoop and signs up the Boyces for a documentary film! The producer/director of this film is a guy who is very well thought of in Australia so I suppose that once it's done maybe we'll get it here. Who knows. I can't figure out why none of the movie companies here wanted to make a new movie - it would have been a sure fire sell!

In fact, there is going to be a new movie - and not for release in this country. It is being sponsored on a grant by the government of Australia and directed and produced by Dennis Smith from Australia.
They are filming both of the Boyce's - so there won't be characters playing them.
I'm not sure what the exact focus on this is but I heard this directly from someone who is involved with the film so I know it's true.
